We are thrilled to present such a diverse and adventurous line-up, packed with outdoor theatre, international collaborations, opera, dance and community activity.
During the festival period, arts organisations The Forge will be facilitating an extensive programme of performances in County Durham schools from 10 resident BRASS bands, drawn from three continents.
Durham Music Service
The service works in partnership with DCC to facilitate world class performance and learning opportunities for Durham's most able and talented student brass players.
This creates stimulating experiences that result in the development of performance skills in a real, relevant and contextualised way.
Durham Music Service has worked with BRASS since 2010 to create opportunities for young musicians to work alongside some of the most inspiring bands and artists playing brass in the world.
